County Debuts Washed Out

As well as putting paid to the entire Club’s cricket programme last week the weather also prevented the County debuts of Jimmy Phillips and Will Eason taking place.

Jimmy was picked to play for Leicestershire 2nds and Will was poised to play for Oxfordshire against Wales and would have become the first Horspath player to represent the County since the Club reformed.

Unfortunately neither of the three day games saw a ball bowled. Nevertheless, congratulations to both on being rewarded for outstanding performances over this season and last.
