Faizan Abbas struck a fine 48 before being run out as Horspath15s secured a 36 run victory over Kidlington in their first home match.. He was well supported in a stand of 69 by Luke Heritage 19 on debut.Late impetus to the innings was provided by Eben Wakefield who struck a powerful 20* to carry the Horspath score to 128 - 4 In reply only A Behall with 28 came to terms with an improved bowling performance with the quartet of U13 bowlers Harvey Shorter; Elliott Ward;Charlie Turner and Jamie Hicks well to the fore.. There were wickets for Faizan and Danyal Abbas but the Jamie Hicks with 3-1 in his 2 overs returned the best figures as Kidlington closed on 92-6
