Horspath 2nd fall to Twyford

HORSPATH 2nd slipped to a two-wicket defeat at home to Twyford in Cherwell League Division 1.
The home side made 234-9 after being put in to bat, with opener Joey Todd (42) and captain Jack Biggs (33) leading the way. But with no-one making a substantial contribution it wasn't enough.

That didn't look the case, however, as Twyford slumped to 128-7, with Jason Cardy taking 3-34 and two wickets apiece for Mark Skelton and Asad Rafiq. But then Zabihullah Saeed (46no) and Lochlan Roberts (43) put on 100 for the eighth wicket to steer Twyford, who were aided by 31 wides, to victory at 235-8.
