The U19s secured the first half of the County 20/20 Finals by running out comfortable winners yesterday at Great Tew in a rain effected tournament. In their semi final in a match reduced to 15overs a side Horspath posted 113 before bowling out the hosts Great Tew for 66. The final was reduced to a 5 over slog against Shipton U Wychwood who overcame Cumnor in the second semi final. Horspath again batted first and set a mammoth 70 off their 5 overs with Asad leading the way with 32*. In reply Shipton fell well short on 27.
