HORSPATH reeled off their fourth straight win in Cherwell League Division 2 with a five-wicket victory at Abingdon Vale. The visitors shot out Vale for 85 after putting them in to bat with Suban Javaid (3-14) doing the early damage. Mark Skelton (4-31) and Tyrone Eyles (2-19) then polished off the hosts inside 35 overs. Horspath were reduced to 17-3 in reply by Henry Pickford (3-25), but with Robbie Eason (31no) standing firm and Eyles making 31, victory was secured at 89-5 in the 39th over. The win keeps Max Smith's side in third place.
